If lounging on the couch and binging your favorite TV show sounds like the perfect way to relax, then Cosmo Kramer is just the dog for you. If you’re sitting on the couch, there’s no better place for this lucky seven-year-old to be, too. He’s content and cuddly, but mostly wants to be where you are.
Let’s say you decide to go for a walk. Cosmo is up for that, too. In fact, he’s a master on a leash and won’t tug, but stays with you. When he needs to go outside, he does his business and reports right back to you so he can receive his treat. He’s doesn’t use his voice for attention – more like the classy silent type – even when he has to spend time in his crate. He may not be a fan just yet, but he’ll sleep in his crate if he must.
Toys are a novelty for this gentleman after having spent a good portion of his life outside and he is starting to find joy in new playthings. He’s proven to be a wonderful friend to other pups and children and happily tolerates the occasional “boop on the nose. He could step up his energy level, but he’s more likely to follow your lead when it comes to activity. He’s food motivated and even wags his tail as he eats.
Cosmo Kramer did pick up heartworm along the way and is starting treatment soon. His low-key persona will make recuperating a little easier. In fact it’s important for his treatment to keep his energy level low, so for now, playtime – and playmates – have to be easy-going, too. His face and his ears will make you melt, so why not take him home, curl up on the couch, and let this guy be your streaming partner?
This pet is available for pre-adoption and may not be officially ready for adoption, as it is still undergoing medical treatment. Depending on the medical status, a Meet and Greet may be put on hold until they can safely participate in a meeting with potential adopters.
