Meet Cody II!

Our Cody is the smartest cuddlebug you’ll find! Found as a stray, he’s an active, playful one to two year old baby who adores his tennis ball and squeaky toys.

Since being rescued, he’s learned so much: he’s crate- and housetrained and knows sit, stay, and here. Just to show what an Einstein he can be: his foster family bought Cody an enrichment toy with a button that dispenses treats, and though they put the button at the top of the stairs and the dispenser at the bottom, Cody figured out exactly what to do in ten minutes! Cody is extremely food-motivated, but perhaps more than that, he’s cuddle-motivated. He loves to be loved on, and pets will calm his zoomies right away. He also enjoys his tug and at 70 pounds, he puts up a great game of tug. Cody loves, loves, loves his time on the sofa next to his foster parents.

Cody is a sweet young boy who gets along well with other large dogs and children. He’s untested w/ cats and while getting along often depends on the cat, his current foster doesn’t think it will work based on Cody’s energy level. Loud noises don’t bother him at all and he is slowly becoming calm and relaxed while riding in the car. Cody walks well on a leash and is working on his heeling. A little people pleaser of a clown, Cody keeps the household laughing all day with his hilarious expressions. Cody would bring all the joy in the world to a family looking for a new member, so don’t hesitate to apply today.
