Chance is a pup at heart, and at the age of ten, he’s finally getting his chance to be a puppy. His first decade likely didn’t have much playtime and toys, but he’s making up for lost time. First and foremost, he’s thrilled beyond belief to be by his person’s side. He’s already figured out that WFH stands for “Will Follow Human, and he’ll sit or sleep in the home office.
When it comes to hanging out with other dogs, Chance thrives in the company of all sizes. He’ll be submissive when playing and he enjoys balancing running with snoozing. Cats are just fine, too, but as is their nature, felines are not as interested in playing with Chance as he is playing with them. Something designed for gently gnawing will be the ideal toy for him.
Whatever may have been in Chance’s past still has an influence on his efforts to be a good boy. Leashes are new, as is going in and out on a schedule. He’s learning to come out of his shell and does a better job of cozying up to dogs than humans. Combined with his moderate energy level, Chance will do best in a home with another dog and family members who are willing to help him continue to improve into his senior years.
