Butters is a sweet, young 2 year old pup. He had a rough start to life and was captured by our partner Duck Team 6. He was living life on the streets for at least 6 months or more, and therefore has some big feelings that he is working through.
Butters is looking for a loving and patient home. He needs someone who is willing to let him decompress at his own pace and continue his training learning to live in the human world. Butters is homebody and working on gaining confidence. He is mostly potty trained – he started using potty pads inside, and now learning how to go outside. He likes his crate and even has doggy friends!
Since Butters is 2 years old – he is a very high energy pup and loves to play. He is a goofy boy and while it takes some time for him to get comfortable – once you are in his circle he is all in! Butters also is still very scared of his leash. Therefore he needs a home with a backyard and the expectation that leashing will take time.
