Meet the beautiful Azula! She is a 3-year-old, 92lb White German Shepherd. We adopted her when she was about 5 months old from someone who needed to get rid of her for family reasons. She has been with us ever since.
Azula is a very sweet dog looking for attention. Her breed needs lots of physical and mental stimulation that we cannot give her. She gets along with dogs of all sizes, we have doggy sat many pets ranging from a 4lb Chihuahua to a 130lb Great Dane, and she’s been a great host every time. She has a Maltese sister and 2 kitten sisters, and they get along fine.
She has been around children as well with no issues, there are 4 children at home 6-14 years old. I would love for her to have a home with a very large yard for her to run around or with a family who is very active and can walk her daily. The home needs to be able to provide grooming as well, since this breed sheds so much.
Azula uses a doggy door to go potty and to go outside as needed. She has not had any potty accidents inside the home. She isn’t too good at walking on a leash, so she needs some practice to stop pulling but she has never tried to run or lunge at any other dog or person. She is very very smart. She learned the verbal command “sit” in like 5 minutes when she was a puppy and has never forgotten the command, I know she would be easily trainable with the right family. She loves attention and loves to be petted, she forgets she’s big and tries to be a lap dog sometimes.
This loving, sweet dog is deserving of the perfect home. Apply to adopt Azula today!
