Grab some tissues, cause Tilly's story is a little bit of a tear jerker! This sweet old soul was found in her home, with her other dog & cat siblings, after their owner had passed away... Tilly is believed to be 10 years old and needs a quiet, nuturing home with her person (and possibly another pet, for companionship) where she can spend her senior years.
Tilly is shy, and takes a little encouragement to come out of her shell. No one is sure what her original home life was like, so she is learning and re-learning how to be a beloved pet. She has arthritis, but walks on a leash alright. and is working on potty training....It is thought her deceased owner could have been elderly-and may not have been able to keep up with outdoor bathroom trips...
The brighter side of Tilly's life is still in the making!! She loves to "Chill and Chew" -chewing on her doggy toys-that is! And she will wag her tail for petting and head scratches! Her foster Mom says she even stays next to her, while she works from home with the family cat, no problem.
There is still so much hope, promise and quality time to spend with Tilly! She quietly & obediently waits her turn to greet her new life, while being spoiled in foster care!
