Breed(s): Terrier, Pit Bull
Rocko wants a modern life- with you! Rocko is sweet and patient with everyone he meets. He LOVES people. He already knows his favorite spot in the house: leaning on, laying on, and following you. He wants to make sure you feel happy, so anytime you feel sad he will snuggle and cuddle you out of your funk. Rocko is house and crate trained and is working on learning commands. He knows sit and no, but those leash manners are still a work in progress. While Rocko is fully housebroken, he needs to be in a crate when you leave for one reason: storms. Rocko HATES storms. If you are home to comfort him when it starts to pour he is ok, but if you are not he gets upset and may have accidents, howl, and try to escape his crate. As such, it is best to have an impact crate to make sure he stays safe when he is scared. Rocko is a cuddle bug who is always in arms reach so you can give belly rubs. He loves to be chased and rolling on his back in the grass. While a yard would be a nice plus, as long as you are up for a walk it is not needed. He is a couch potato who just wants to sit and be cuddled. Rocko does not chew on things or show any interest toys- unless they have treats inside. He loves to eat, so watch your dinner or it may go to the dog! Rocko is currently recovering from having some teeth pulled and heartworm injections. He does have some allergies, but wiping off his feet and using Apoquel when it's really bad seem to have cleared it up. Rocko has not met any other dogs or cats so his temperament with these is unknown. He has not met any kids, but his love of people makes it likely he would be great with them. The only caution would be for small kids as he doesn't know his own strength. Are you looking to be adored? Do you need more funny faces in your life? Do you need a good excuse to stay on the couch? Then Rocko is the boy for you!
