Meet Esperanza!
Hi, I'm Esperanza (Hope) and go by Espi for short. I lived chained in a yard for a long time and never had a name before. But life is great now (other than prepping for my heart worm treatment). I love all people, my crate, going on walks, and cuddling. I know to only "go" outside, and how to sit and stay. I'm learning to play with other dogs and am still learning not to get excited and jump and not to chase cats. My foster parents love me would keep me because I am no trouble at all, but they already have other dogs and think I deserve my own family where I can get more undivided attention. I'll be happy as long as I'm loved. ESPERANZA is available for pre-adoption only at this time, as she is heartworm positive. Heartworm disease is a non-contagious and treatable condition in dogs, but is fatal if left untreated. For more information about the spread, treatment, and prevention of heartworms visit: All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
