Breed(s): Shepherd, German
Meet Roxy! She's a six-year-old German shepherd mix who's had a lot of heartbreak in her life. But she's bouncing back in a loving foster home where she enjoys nothing more than snuggling with her people on the couch.
Roxy was adopted and returned twice because she has a fear of men. So she'd love a home that's a total girls' club! She walks great on a leash and knows a range of commands...she even likes to shake hands! Such a sweet girl. As for other animals, she's fine with dogs, doesn't pay them much attention and she gets along well with cats.
Roxy is a big girl - nearly 80 lbs! - who loves to be near her people. She tries to sit on laps on car rides, which doesn't work that well. But at home, she's totally happy to snuggle. She also likes a long run with her people.
Roxy's ideal home is a girls-only one. She's fearful of men so it's best if her forever home is all women. She'd also love a home where she can go on walks and runs, and then come back for a long snooze with her humans. Roxy deserves the perfect forever home. Could that be with you? Apply to adopt her today!
