DESCRIPTION:Get ready to connect\, celebrate\, and support the amazing world of fostering at this fun-filled community bash! \n\n\n\n\nHave you ever been curious about fostering but felt a little nervous about what it’s actually like? Foster Fest is the perfect chance to learn more in a relaxed\, welcoming environment. \nJoin Dallas Pets Alive and our shelter partners for an afternoon all about fostering. You’ll be able to meet animals who are ready to go into foster homes\, talk with experienced volunteers\, and learn what fostering really looks like day to day. Our goal is to make it easy for anyone interested in helping animals to take that first step. \nWhy attend Foster Fest? \n\nLearn what fostering is really like and get tips from experienced fosters\nMeet dogs and cats who are ready to go into foster homes\nPick up supplies like food\, toys\, and other basics to help you get started\nAsk questions and connect with local rescue partners\n\nThere is no pressure to foster on the spot. If you want to take time to think about it\, that is completely fine.
