Haly is a brave little kitten who was found in a backyard at 6 weeks old. She was part of a small group of stray cats that hang around the neighborhood and when they were fed, she was so hungry she didn’t even notice being picked up mid-meal. She was instantly purring even though she was very visibly scared, hungry, and in need of care.
She got her name from the scientific name of the stink bug, Halyomorpha halys, because when she was found she was super stinky, but too cute for a name like “Stink Bug,” so Haly stuck!
Now that she’s more settled in, Haly’s personality is starting to shine. She loves chasing toys, playing with puffy balls, her scratch posts, and exploring every corner of the room. She also loves to wrestle with her housemate cat and she is also working on winning over another cat in the house with her persistent yer sweet charm.
Haly would do great in a loving home with patient parents and maybe another friendly cat to play with. She is a playful, brave and spunky little lady and its amazing watching her grow more confident every day.
