Boots is a 5 week old kitten with high energy, tiny paws, and the cutest cowboy-boot markings on his back legs (hence the name!). He was born in a neighbor’s garage and was at risk of ending up in the shelter, so his foster stepped in to give him and his littermates a safe start.
He’s mostly been around his mama and siblings but warms up quickly to new humans of all genders. Even at just a few weeks old, he’s got a big personality. Boots is the cautious one of the litter the kind of kitten who will bravely puff up and hiss to “protect” his siblings even when he can barely see and then immediately let you scoop him up for cuddles. His foster calls him a professional human cuddler because once he decides you’re safe, he melts right into you.
He’s still learning about toys (and learning that the hem of his foster’s shorts is not one of them), but once he decides something is okay, he’s all in, whether it’s a new toy, wet food, or snuggling with people. He’s litter-box trained and currently has free access to wet and dry kitten food while he finishes weaning.
Boots is a tiny, cautious, snuggly dork who just needs a safe home full of love, patience, and lots of playtime. He may be small, but he’s got a huge heart and he’s ready to share it with his forever family.
