With multiple adoption events ahead, the Dallas animal rescue group helps everyone find a companion this season!
Dallas, TX – While finding furrever homes for deserving dogs and cats has always been at the forefront of its mission, Dallas Pets Alive! proves the month of February is extra special to volunteers’ hearts.
The nonprofit animal rescue group is set to host five adoption events and a fundraiser in the upcoming month to raise awareness of the affectionate four-legged creatures looking to be loved. The events will take place at different locations throughout the Dallas, Richardson and Grapevine areas in hopes of giving every available pet a chance to find that special someone.
Upcoming adoption events will include:
- Saturday, Feb. 4, from 12-4 pm: EatZi’s (Grapevine)
- Saturday, Feb. 11, from 2-5 pm: Community Beer Company (Dallas)
- Saturday, Feb. 18, from 1-4 pm: Four Bullets Brewery (Richardson)
- Sunday, Feb. 19, 1-3 pm: Cat adoption event at Unleashed Park Lane (Dallas)
- Saturday, Feb. 25, 12-3 pm: Hollywood Feed (Grapevine)
Open to the public, the nonprofit events encourage adults and families seeking forever companions to come cuddle and play with adoptable animals in a friendly, noncommittal environment. Dogs of all sizes, breeds and ages are expected in attendance, giving pet lovers of all interests the chance to meet “the one.”
In addition to its traditional adoption events, Dallas Pets Alive! will be hosting a dog washing fundraiser at EarthWise Pet Supply in Richardson on Sunday, Feb. 26, from 1 to 4 pm. Pet owners are invited to come make a splash with their furry friends at $10 per wash, and all proceeds will go directly to DPA!
