Ruff Life No Longer: Isabella Finds Her Forever Home

Ruff Life No Longer: Isabella Finds Her Forever Home

On June 1st, CW33 shared Isabella’s Ruff Life story. That night, the Kolesar family watched her segment and knew they had to meet her. As one of the more timid dogs in the Dallas Pets Alive! organization, it warmed our hearts to learn that all she needed was a family – particularly one with a set of triplet siblings! “I think she kind of gave us more of a second chance, to be honest,” Joe Kolesar said. “We lost our two puppies we had for 11 years, and I didn’t think something could fill that void, but she did.” Isabella’s “ruff life” is no more! We have seen a complete transformation from Isabella, which serves as a perfect representation of our purpose. Happy tails to Isabella! To watch this Ruff Life segment, please click here. It’s Brotherly Love Between Ruff Life Alum Jack and New Brother, Ralphie

Back in October, CW33’s Ruff Life shared the story of Captain Jack. Now, he’s back in another segment to introduce his new partner in treasure hunting: Ralphie! Ralphie came to Dallas Animal Services with a large, open wound on his head. His wound was patched and stitched by DAS, and he was put on the market for adoption with no other health problems. The adopted brothers were friends from the start, according to adopter Candice Aaron.  So now it’s Captain Jack and gold medal First Mate Ralphie reporting for duty! Sister, Sister! Korra and Khloe Find New Family, New Start and New Sisters

Sister, Sister! Korra and Khloe Find New Family, New Start and New Sisters

While these new sisters have no blood relation, they had quite a similar start in life. Both were pulled off of the streets with medical issues causing hair loss. Korra was found with ringworm and Khloe had mange when she was first taken in by Dallas Pets Alive. The biggest similarity between the two, however, is that they both stole the hearts of adopters Kelsie Lindley and Kaleb Sanders. From hairless strays to happy stepsisters, the Ruff Life is kaput for Korra and Khloe. To watch this Ruff Life segment, please click here. Special thanks to CW33 for sharing this story!...
