Hi, my name is Athena!
Young Medium Female
Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed
Hello, I am Athena. I am every bit of the meaning of my name, as I am extremely intelligent as the Greek God of wisdom and welfare. The word also derived from sharp and praise. Exactly what I need - lots of praise, stability, and consistency. Dallas Pets Alive rescued me as a stray, and I am a young girl, under a year old.
I am a big snuggler! So if you like Netflix I will be the perfect companion for you, and enjoy hanging on the couch. I snore a bit and sometimes think I am human rather than a dog. I have lots to energy, so I need walked and played with. I have been socialized with people and other pets, but can be rather needy.
I’m still working on my eating habits and crate training, and I am getting better at it. For the most part I am potty trained and have almost NO accidents. I love car rides too, and bond very quickly with people. I want to spend as much time with you as I can! I also have such a cool and funny personality and love to take pictures.
You just have to meet me, and see for yourself. Apply and adopt me, Athena, today!
